Capacity cultivates safety.
Innovation sparks from there.
No Capes Learning - a K12 strategic innovation partner who collaborates with small schools to build capacity for meaningful learning transformation.
Curious what this looks like for your school?
Letβs have a curiosity chat and explore together.
schools usually reach out whenβ¦
Your teachers are overwhelmed by tools they didn't ask for
A technology initiative stalled before it took root
PD isn't changing what practically happens in classrooms
AI is arriving faster than your policy
You know something needs to change but aren't sure where to start
Systems are duplicating work and draining your people
Youβre being asked to do more with less, year by year
Your leaders are treading water and putting out fires every day
My Story
Teachers used to ask me "Where is your cape?" as I walked into their classroom. I showed up. We navigated it together. They breathed easier. But here's what I learned: you don't need a cape to transform learning. What you need is a partner who stays until the system can hold itself up.
Thatβs why I build sustainable learning systems before you hit the wall β not after.
Educators and principals call me βThe guy who figures stuff outβ but real heroes equip and empower others to thrive without them. Now Iβm expanding this mission by partnering with schools, to raise up educators and leaders who donβt need a cape; they need to expand their capacity.
When you work with me, I leave you better equipped to solve problems, with agile systems, workflows, and culture able to handle change without me in the room.
I donβt want to be the hero. I want you to be the hero of your story. No capes required.
examples of how i could partner with you to expand capacity
1:1 Technology Coaching
Teachers are drowning in tools they were handed without a partner. I show up alongside individual educators where they are, build confidence at their pace, and make sure they can keep swimming long after I'm gone.
Professional Development
Most PD adds to the pile. Mine doesn't. I design and facilitate learning experiences that reduce cognitive load, build real competence, and give educators something they can actually use tomorrow. The goal is always independence, never dependency.
Strategic Planning & Implementation
Schools are choking on the promise of excellence. I help leadership cut through the noise, identify what's actually getting in the way, and build a roadmap that creates space to breathe. Then I stay to see it through.
Streamlining Workflow
When the system is suffocated by process, your people can't do the work that matters. I find what's draining time and energy, clean it up, and build tools that free you to do school the way you actually want to do school.

βI can't thank you enough for your guidance today. The play session was incredibly helpful! With what you taught me, I recorded 8 videos in 2.5 hours, half the time I'd budgeted. Thanks for your patience, clear explanations, flexibility, grounded perspective about AI tools, and for following up with more info. I'm grateful to be connected to you, and I think your human-centered work is so beneficial in this fast-paced world.β
Krista Vanderzee, Coach for Transitioning Teachers
βIt's no secret that I'm not a fan of AI. I still believe that its obvious harms far outweigh its vague benefits. But when I met with Job he showed me an interesting way AI could meaningfully improve my daily life. Job went out of his way to make sure MY specific questions got answered and that I left knowing how to do something that would have a direct impact on my life. He didn't try to convince me that AI should write for me, or try to get me to offload the cognitive work I actually enjoy. Instead, he asked good questions and only showed me workflows I might reasonably use. If more people approached AI tools as thoughtfully as Job does, I'd feel a lot better about where they're headed.β
